Realtor yard signs are an important part of getting a building or land for sale noticed by potential buyers. They provide a great benefit not only to those selling the building or property but also to the real estate agent. However, there are quite a few things to keep in mind with the installation of such signs.

There are a couple entities whose rules and regulations must be taken into consideration when it comes to realtor yard signs and all other matters. These include the Real Estate Commission and the Division of Commerce. The standards and laws apply to the information presented as well as the construction and installation of signs.

Realtor yard signs are generally required to display the address and phone number of any brokerage or agency office involved. The signs bust be easily installed with a hammer and easily removed with minimal damage to the ground. It is also usually necessary to have the written consent of the seller before placing the sign on the property.
