Realtor Signs FAQs

What is MLS?

MLS stands for multiple listing service. Basically, this is a sharing of comprehensive home information which is only accessible by real estate professionals. Originally, this was all shared through monthly books which had weekly updates. However, recent developments in technology have allowed for this to be conveniently stored online. This makes it both easier to navigate and more up-to-date.

What is an "MLS Only" listing?

This listing is taken at a set fee or reduced cost by a broker. It only entails having the property placed in the MLS, with no additional services. This is a more affordable way of getting MLS exposure. However, some states require minimum service to be provided to all sellers, which makes the provision of MLS only listing impossible.

Is there a more eco-friendly alternative to wire frames for realtor signs?

Yes. A great option is to find frames created from recycled structural plastic. This options prevent such material from ending up in a landfill, so they do not require any waste of resources. In addition to this, they do not rust, chip, create oily residue or release harmful fumes like welded-wire and angle-iron designs.
